Booking stop due to Evergreen's M/V Ever Given further blocking the Suez Canal

Dear Valued Customers,

Due to Evergreen’s M/V “Ever Given” further blocking the Suez Canal and therefore all other vessels not being able to use the passage in either direction, Hamburg Süd is foreseeing problems with the network. At this point in time it is impossible to predict when the vessel will be released and what impact this blockage has operationally to our network.

Due to this blockage of Suez transit and to not aggravate an already tense situation, we have decided to announce a booking stop for all new cargo bookings on our NERA eastbound services for the trades from North Europe to Middle East, India and Far East Asia (E3E & E1E).

This stop will be re-viewed/lifted once the impact on network due to above situation is clear.
