MACS expends its product offering to Port Lüderitz and port of Mossel Bay

Dear Customers,

We are delighted to announce that MACS Maritime Container Shipping GmbH & CO., Hamburg is now offering a monthly feeder service from North Europe via Cape Town to Lüderitz and Mossel Bay.

Following the launch of its recent liner service from the North Europe to St. Helena, MACS is using the opportunity to connect the ports of Lüderitz and - on demand - the port of Mossel Bay with its long established liner services to / from Europe and the US Gulf, creating a reliable link for the Namibian fishing industry with European export markets. For the first time the energy industry is getting a scheduled reliable MPP feeder connection to deliver their products to Lüderitz and - on demand - to Mossel Bay via Sea.

MACS is employing the MPP vessel mv Karoline in this service, she is equipped with 2 cranes of 35 tons, combinable to 70 tons lifting capacity and she has a sufficient number of reefer plugs available.
